Below are answers to frequently asked questions that may help you get started.
What if I am having trouble reserving a class on the app or online?
Visit the Welcome Center at our YMCA and ask for assistance with creating a reservation.
Do ALL classes require a reservation?
Yes, at this time, ALL classes will require a reservation to attend.
When can I reserve a spot in a class? When do reservations open up?
Reservations for all classes will open 48 hours prior to the class start time and end 15 minutes prior to the class start time.
Does the reservation system close at any particular time prior to the class start time?
Reservations will close 15 minutes prior to class start time. After this time, members will no longer be able to make reservations.
How many reservations can I make? Can I reserve spots for someone else (husband, friend, sibling, child, etc) at the same time that I make my reservation?
Each login has the capability to make only ONE reservation per class.
How will I know if my spot is reserved?
A notification confirmation will appear onscreen immediately after a reservation has been successfully made, whether it was done on the app or on the website. You will also receive an e-mail confirming your reservation.
What if the class I want to take is full?
Classes are filled on first come, first serve basis. so register early. If the class is full, please continue to check the mobile app or website for class openings as classes now can be cancelled up 15 minutes before start time.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible to allow other members the opportunity to attend the class. Reservations can be cancelled following the same steps for reserving a spot but by choosing CANCEL RESERVATION. Reservations must be cancelled during the registration time period - 48 hours before the class begins to 15 minutes before the class begins. Last minute cancellations will not be accepted.
What happens if I register for a class and do not attend?
Due to limited class sizes, if a reservation is not cancelled and the member does not show up to class, they will be charged a $10 no-show fee.
If a class is not full but I don’t have a reservation for it, can I still attend?
No. For the safety of all our members and staff, a reservation is required for all classes. No walk-ins will be allowed to attend class.
If I want to come to a class and I see that the reservations are full, can I just show up and hope that there is space?
No. For the safety of all our members and staff, prior reservation is required for all classes.
