We understand that walking into a wellness center, with its many types of equipment, can be intimidating. Let us help you! During an orientation, you will learn how to use the cardiovascular and/or strength equipment in our wellness centers to increase your health and well-being. Orientations will be one-on-one or in small groups.
You will learn how to use the following types of equipment:
- Cardio machines, such as treadmills, bikes, rowers and elliptical
- Strength machines, such as the leg press and chest press machines
Wellness Orientation Schedule
The YMCA offers wellness floor orientations twice a week for our new and existing members. Orientations are hosted by YMCA Perssonal Trainers and include information on adjusting equipment to fit you, proper use of equipment, and wellness floor etiquette.
- Monday & Wednesday: 9:00 am - 11:00 am
